Jr. Academy

AGES 4-7

The SCOR's  Jr. Academy is a program designed to introduce young players to the game of soccer. This fun-filled introduction to soccer focuses on our youngest players. SCOR U4 – U7.

 Jr. Academy program provides players with a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to introducing the basic technical skills. The same time improving coordination, balance and agility through various games and energy-burning activities.

 The program helps players improve their ball skills, practice sportsmanship, improve on listening skills and having fun playing the sport.

Registration for fall opens each year on or around July

Registration for spring each year opens on or around January.

Overview

SCOR will encourage player development and formation of teams of talented soccer players from Oak Ridge and surrounding communities.

The SCOR's Jr. Academy is a program designed to introduce young players to the game of soccer. Sessions are held in the Spring and the Fall of each year.

Academy is a 8-week program- a total of approx. 27 hours of soccer per season. We limit the numbers of players into our program.

Scholarships are available for those needed.

Our fees are minimal ($125) (per season) includes a game shirt.

Training Info

All SCOR's Jr. Academy teams will train 3 days a week with licensed SCOR coaches.

All training sessions will follow an age-appropriate curriculum through The Coaching Manual. Our teams train and play at Pinewood Soccer Field.

Sessions are held every Monday ,Wednesday, or Thursday

Practice times are based on birth year.

Older players are in the Lightning group. Our younger players are the Thunder. Please see the practice schedule below.
